Is gymnastics dangerous?

At Extreme Texas, safety is our number one priority. While all sports come with risk of injury, this risk is no greater than playing on a playground at most levels of the sport. You can rest assured that not only are you in the most equipped hands, but that we are actually training to prevent injury! By strengthening the body and training the body in agility, flexibility, spatial awareness, and falling techniques, proper gymnastics training prevents injury both in the gym and out in the world. In addition, the incredible training tools and equipment we have invested in at Extreme Texas are extremely forgiving on the body, preventing overuse injuries and protecting the body.
